Coracle Creative Arts Community
Coracle creates spaces for therapists of body, mind and spirit: it creates spaces for musicians and theatre makers: It creates spaces for people of goodwill who want to engage with creativity and good energy.
a coracle is a little boat.
a coracle speaks of a journey
a boat that is vulnerable to the elements
and yet small enough to respond to the changes in the weather
and to be a part of the environment.
as a centre, coracle is a place of radical welcome
and community wellbeing.
Coracle is a Social Enterprise of Fairfield Uniting Church.
Gloworm Children's Art Studio
Creativity with curiosity, confidence and care
Gloworm Studios is a warm, welcoming children’s art studio based in Fairfield, founded in 2016 by artist and educator Marianna Marx. We create a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore their creativity with curiosity, confidence and care.
Our programs focus on process-based artmaking and creative exploration, with children working across a wide range of mediums including drawing, painting, illustration, clay, sculpture, collage, anime and mixed media. We value imagination, individuality and the joy of making, rather than producing a “perfect” final artwork.
Gloworm Studios offers weekly after-school art classes, school holiday programs and private lessons for children. Classes are taught by Marianna and Nat, two experienced teaching artists who are passionate about supporting each child to express themselves, build skills at their own pace, and feel safe to explore their ideas.
